The 'My Roles' page tracks the progress of your applications. Learn what each stage means for you.
All of your application activity is tracked on the My Roles page through four progressive stages: In Progress, Applied, Action Needed, and Connected. Your withdrawn, rejected, and not interested are organized into folders Withdrawn, Closed, and Not Interested. Each describes your application’s status through the recruiter’s consideration process, and in this article, you’ll learn what each stage means and how it relates to your application.
To navigate to the roles page, select the My Roles button in the top center of your dashboard, then click on each tab to access the information inside.
- In Progress: The applications you've started and haven't submitted yet.
- At the bottom of this tab, the View Not Interested button will open a folder of roles that you have marked as not interested.
- Applied: Submitted applications, presently under review by the company recruiter. Response time depends on the company and cannot be predicted by RippleMatch.
- View Withdrawn/View Closed: Withdrawn and rejected application folders are located at the bottom of the page. Learn more about withdrawals in our article, Can I re-apply to a match I withdrew from?
- Action Needed: Applications that require an extra step, usually in the form of an assessment. If your application is stuck in this tab and you did not receive any directions about the next steps, contact us at help@ripplematch.com.
- Connected: Accepted applications and the last step in the consideration process. You’re put into communication with the recruiter and given access to their contact information.
