Below we are sharing the most common step-by-step process for anyone who is new to RippleMatch that is not a recruiter but will be representing your team/company at an event to consider.
If your goal is to check in attendees, take notes and assess potential candidates as you meet them-- this guide is for you it has two parts, Before Your Event and Day of Your Event
-
Make sure you are ready to Log In with a User Account so you're ready for the Day of Your Event. If you do not already have a login, please reach out to a recruiter with admin privileges on your team for help creating one or to confirm if you need one.

Make a plan with your team of how you will check in candidates based on available resources/format of the event. Decide if you will be sharing a QR Code and if you need to print it ahead of time and bring it with you. Or if you know that you won't have WiFi, Importing a CSV will be the best way to collect that information
-
If you're using a tablet device like an iPad be sure that the device and web browser app is updated to the latest version available before your event
We have tips below about which check in option is best, but check out our article: How do candidates check-in to my events? How does RippleMatch track attendance? for more granular information about each option.

When you have an in-person event, you have two Check-in options: (1) Check in candidates yourself on your own device, (2) Candidates check themselves in on their own devices. You can access these options from the "Check-in Center" on the event page.
Options to Check in Event Attendees:
To check in a candidate yourself using your own device, select the "Manual Check-In" option and follow the prompts on the screen as you're speaking with the candidate. You will first be prompted to input their email address. If the candidate already has a profile on RippleMatch tied to that email address all of their information will be automatically pulled through and they will be marked as an attendee in your records. If the candidate does not have a profile tied to that email address, you will be prompted to input all additional information that you customized during your event creation.
To have candidates check themselves in on their own device, select the "Attendee Self Check-In" option to open the uniquely generated QR code for that specific event. It will open a page that is customized to your company and the name of the event. Candidates can scan the QR Code on their phones to open the check in screen where they will be prompted to input their email address. If the candidate already has a profile on RippleMatch tied to that email address all of their information will be automatically pulled through and they will be marked as an attendee in your records. If the candidate does not have a profile tied to that email address, they will be prompted to input all additional information that you customized during your event creation.
