Multi-Faceted and Thoughtful Approach to University Recruitment

Grainger’s recruiting teams are dedicated to attracting and sourcing early career talent by attending in-person and virtual career fairs as well as hosting targeted information sessions in areas like tech, supply chain, sales, and finance. This year, Grainger launched a Campus Ambassador advocacy program to create opportunities for early career team members to share their experiences with students, answer questions about transitioning from school to professional life, and strengthen Grainger’s on-campus relationships. At Grainger events, students can ask leaders questions and learn about specific roles firsthand. They can also have their resume reviewed as well as practice interview questions and their pitch. Grainger attends about 140 early career recruitment events and university fairs, including career fairs focused on diversity and early in career talent.
