The sourcing team has evolved its campus activations to go beyond traditional career fairs, offering development opportunities that help students prepare for interviews, technical assessments, and professional growth while introducing them to new business areas. Traditional info sessions have been replaced with workshops, development sessions, and volunteer opportunities, allowing students to engage with Visa's brand in a meaningful way. Each interaction leaves students upskilled and ready for what's next, reflecting Visa's commitment to uplifting students everywhere.

Visa's summer internship program is a unique, comprehensive three-month journey that encapsulates five key objectives: crafting real-world solutions, gaining wisdom from industry experts, acquiring new capabilities, receiving personalized mentorship, and engaging in fun, enriching activities. This dynamic program provides more than just challenging and impactful summer projects; it's structured around four crucial components – Understanding Visa's Mission, Culture, and Purpose: This component encompasses an Executive Speaker Series, Technology and Product demonstrations across the organization, and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion series titled `Brave and Different Stories.` This series features thought leaders offering diverse perspectives on topics related to difference. Additionally, Visa offers a Global Intern Case Challenge that invites interns from North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, Central Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Latin America & Caribbean to innovate new solutions on how AI can promote financial access and uplift individuals globally. This case challenge allows interns from all over the globe to connect and exchange ideas. Developing Tech and Business Skills: Irrespective of their major or background, interns gain practical experience in the art and science of Gen AI prompting. For those seeking advanced learning, a financial gen AI technical workshop is available, where they can tailor and prompt GPT-style models with tabular and financial data. Additional training opportunities include advanced Excel and storytelling workshops to enhance the interns' influencing skills. Personal Career Development: The program offers group mentorship to broaden their networks and meet interns beyond their department. A unique three-hour practical communications workshop, inspired by theatrical techniques, is provided to all interns to foster more courageous business communication. Community and Fun: Every office hosting interns will organize Welcome Events, Intern Day events, Employee Resource Group networking events, and a grand end-of-program celebration. Visa encourages interns to ”choose their own adventure,” with more than 50 unique programs and social activities throughout the summer. Beyond these enriching experiences, interns have projects throughout the summer with their teams. At the end of the program, interns present their achievements and recommendations to senior leaders within their function. This comprehensive internship program truly encapsulates the company's commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
