Impactful Internship Program

At Vertiv, interns are provided the opportunity to interact with each other and the business through lunch and learns led by various executive leaders across departments, interactive tours, and intern-specific social events. Intern Managers have been tasked with creating a specific project for the intern(s) in their specific departments, and provide the interns with the opportunity to present said project to their direct team and others at the end of the summer program. Several interns are offered positions to remain part-time during the school year – providing them a unique opportunity to put what they are learning in the classroom to real-life practice immediately, as well as offers to return for the same (or a different) internship the following summer. Rising seniors are reviewed by hiring managers and high-potential/high-performing candidates are made offers for full-time positions at Vertiv upon graduation.

Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent

Vertiv offers two rotational leadership development programs in Finance (FLDP) and Sales (SLDP). Through the FLDP program, participants work in several roles throughout the company, acquiring experience, owning key tasks, advancing leadership skills, and gaining exposure to the top levels of leadership. The intent is to catapult their career once the program ends, and participants will have the opportunity to help pick their placement after the program, and gain valuable exposure to ELT throughout the process. The SLDP provides recent college graduates with the opportunity to attain hands-on experience in different parts of Sales at a global organization. Success of this program will be measured by the hiring of a diverse group of professionals, a higher retention rate within the sales organization, and the effective execution of business objectives.
