Excellence in Early Career Recruitment Strategy
The Emerging Talent recruiting team at Vast takes an immersive, relationship-driven approach to early career hiring. They engage students through a mix of on-campus recruiting events, student competition teams and lab visits, and opportunities to experience Vast firsthand through HQ tours. A key priority in their approach is bringing Vast alumni back to campus so students can see clear representation and real career pathways at the company. Together, these efforts create a high-touch candidate experience that builds strong connections with students.
Excellence in Candidate Experience
The Emerging Talent recruiting team at Vast is intentional about creating a transparent, supportive, and continuously improving candidate experience for students. The interview process is designed to be quick and streamlined, especially when candidates are identified early through on-campus recruiting and interviews. After key engagement moments, the team collects and reviews feedback to improve future events and processes. Incoming interns are also invited to join a Discord community where they can connect with peers and former interns, helping build early connections and readiness for day one.
