Excellence in Recruitment Strategies
Uline’s Campus Recruiting team has made significant strides in advancing its Early Talent program. Over the last five years, the program has grown exponentially, hiring over 100 new graduates and interns per year. As the program has expanded, its recruitment strategy has evolved, utilizing various virtual platforms heavily in 2020 and 2021 to balance virtual and in-person events for connecting with students. Additionally, Uline partners extensively with different campus organizations to provide insight and career guidance to students. Once hired, students are paired with a one-on-one mentor to ensure a smooth transition from college to corporate life.
Excellence in Candidate Experience
The Uline Campus Recruiting team puts candidate experience at the forefront of their recruitment efforts. When a candidate applies to Uline, a coordinator will call within 24 hours of their application submission to schedule the first-round interview. Uline has implemented "Uline Days" for candidates to come onsite to tour their campus, enjoy lunch with their perspective team, and interview with potential managers. This paired with On-Campus interviews allows for students to interview that work best with their schedules and ensure a thorough recruitment process. After their final interviews, Uline will pair candidates with Campus Ambassadors to answer any questions about the program.
Excellence in DE&I
Uline is a family company that seeks out diverse thoughts and backgrounds to support its continuous growth. Uline’s initiatives include partnering with organizations to ensure that students have fair opportunities to apply for its roles. Uline attends over 150 events each year, reaching different schools and groups across North America. By partnering with organizations such as Women in Business, Women in Technology, Women in Data Science, the Society of Women Engineers, Delta Sigma Pi, and many more, Uline is equipped to hire the strongest individuals. Once hired, new hires are paired with one-on-one mentors or orientation partners to help them find their fit within Uline’s family.
