Tokio Marine HCC’s (TMHCC) Intern Enrichment program is a 12-week career development experience for college students, that exposes participants to the vast array of specialty insurance classes under the TMHCC umbrella. Interns from across the nation closely collaborate with department leads, participate in a series of career-focused learning opportunities, and develop a broader, holistic understanding of the specialty insurance industry. The program is designed to encourage learning every step of the way. Throughout the program, interns will rotate between various departments for a more holistic understanding of how each team intertwines. They have the opportunity to shadow members of TMHCC's senior executive team and develop power skills such as self-awareness and relationship management, prioritization, negotiation, communication, collaboration, growth mindset, and so much more. TMHCC has an unwavering focus on the growth and development of its people. The Intern Enrichment Program is centered around project-based experiences in the intern’s respective area of study, a national cross-functional business case project, and weekly enrichment opportunities on topics believed to be the key to success, including DE&I, Executive engagement sessions, and business fundamentals.
