Building an Innovative and Multi-Faceted Approach to University Recruiting

In 2021, when the campus recruiting team at Texas Instruments was again facing virtual recruiting, they got creative to keep engagement high and ensure students were able to connect with TI team members in a variety of ways. The team crafted a diverse set of virtual and in-person events available to students at partner universities across the country, ranging from info sessions to workshops. Beyond events, the team invested in their former interns to act as brand ambassadors and spread the word about TI's awesome internship opportunities and culture as well as educating candidates about career search best practices.

Texas Instruments welcomes over 1,000 interns who work on challenging projects, develop personally and professionally, and experience firsthand what it’s like to work at TI. Texas Instruments assigns interns meaningful work from day one, and are always amazed by what interns achieve. For interns who go above and beyond, TI invite them back for another internship, or extend an offer to join one of their full-time rotation programs after graduation.

Supporting the Growth and Development of Entry-Level Talent

The Texas Instrument rotation programs for new college grads give rotators the opportunity to quickly gain experience in different areas and to help find a role where they can make the biggest impact. TI has rotation programs for most functions and it gives new college grads a broader view of the roles and lets them work within multiple parts of the org and network with leaders. The TI Make an Impact program is for first year new college grads and helps them develop quicker and perform faster.
