Career Highlight

"When I joined the Cintas family, I stood by my commitment to increase diversity in the workplace and continue to build stronger partnerships with our HBCUs, HSIs, and the community. Cintas had already been decades into its journey of creating a diversified workplace, and my strategy had to be unique. I started by raising awareness of unconscious bias and had several team meetings regularly with my Cintas partners to create awareness. I then begin to target and build strategic partnerships with HBCUs, starting with colleges where we had several partners that were alumni. I made sure that the colleges and universities recognized our brand by hosting events and at times was invited to take over the university’s social media accounts. I also begin to gain the trust of faculty and staff, who then connected me with multicultural professional associations and student groups. That opened doors for me to work with professional organizations outside of the universities and within the communities."
