The Emerging Talent Programs team recognizes the impact that building a diverse program has on the organization and works with local college and university organizations to attract talent at the early career level. In addition to recruitment, Snyk is proud to offer interns, co-ops, recent graduates, and career changers with the opportunity to join Snyk Impact Initiatives and Snyk Resource Groups. These foster a community-focused, inclusive workplace where all employees feel like they belong.

Impactful Internship Program

Snyk offers a hands-on program where interns and co-ops are treated like any other full-time employee. Provided with the opportunity to complete time bound project work that addresses strategic business priorities, students are given the autonomy to fail fast — so long as they learn. Operating in a flex set-up, Snykers work in the office three days a week, encouraging direct connection with peers and leaders. Curated weekly programming enables them to develop experience that they’ll leverage in their full-time careers. From learning sessions focused on building essential skills and structured performance evaluations, to social events and Ask Me Anything sessions with C-suite executives, they are exposed to a strong sense of community while being set up for future success.

Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent

At Snyk, the Emerging Talent Program contributes to the company’s continued growth. By custom tailoring existing employee programs, early career talent are provided with enriching professional experiences through cross-functional exposure within a global context. Promoting a positive and collaborative environment where everyone feels supported throughout their tenure is imperative. New hires attend orientation led by the Emerging Talent Programs team to facilitate a smooth transition into Snyk and encourage engagement and connection with their cohort. Training and skills development is ingrained into the programming to build confidence in the workplace, including formal performance evaluations to familiarize them with both giving and receiving feedback. Snyk’s program is iterative and builds upon itself to ensure it remains inclusive, meaningful, and empowering at scale.
