Excellence in DE&I
SNC recruits at DE&I schools such as PrairieView A&M for an HBCU representation, University of Arizona for HIS representation, and California State University- Sacramento (Sacramento State) for AANAPISI efforts. Additionally, the university recruiting leads sponsor efforts to donate money to NSBE and SWE this past year. SNC has historically partnered with University of Denver, DU, and their SWE team to send SNC's Women’s ERG and talent acquisition partners out to speak on panels and give guidance on resume building, interview tips, and building a professional online presence.
Excellence in Internship Programming
Interns have a virtual networking event before they start so they can connect and get an overview of the company. There is a two day intern specific onboarding session ran by the university recruiting team. Additionally, they go through a professional development session every Monday to focus on resume building, team building, a team player book reading assignment with action plan, along with job planning, owning your career, financial fiduciary advice from Fidelity, and final presentations. Interns are assigned mentors and have multiple fun networking events during the summer to build their team dynamic. There are also senior executive panels, and small round tables for a larger mentoring efforts.
