Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

One of the biggest drivers and values of SentinelOne's Internship Program is to foster diversity, to enable and empower underrepresented pools of talent to help shape the future of cybersecurity. The company is committed to identifying, supporting, and empowering more female representation in the cybersecurity space. With the company's commitment to having 25% of women represented in the company by 2025, SentinelOne heavily invests in its partnership with WiCys (Women in Cybersecurity), leveraging female professionals within the company to host workshops with other females seeking to learn more about the industry. The company also has a wide variety of different Inclusion Networks (IN) including, WIN (Women's IN), Blk@SentinelOne (Black IN), Latinos@S1, Served@S1 (Veteran's Inclusion Network), Out@S1 (LGBTQ+ IN), Pan-Asian@S1 (Asia Pacific IN) -- INs are voluntary, employee-led groups whose aim is to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with SentinelOne’s core values. Inclusion Networks exist to provide support and help in personal and professional development and to create a safe space where members and allies, all Sentinels can bring their whole authentic selves to the table.

Impactful Internship Program

At SentinelOne, the internship program extends beyond adding an experience on your resume. Interns are given impactful projects and responsibilities that have high-level impact to the work at SentinelOne, alongside having a mentor and manager who provide mentorship and professional development to help identify their growth at the company and beyond. Community is also an important aspect of SentinelOne’s internship program. During the program, interns have a Global Speaker Series where they connect with global leaders across SentinelOne to learn about their career experiences and early career advice. The intern programming also includes bonding activity workshops where interns can connect with other interns and the university team -- from resume reviews, lunch bonding, to sharing the projects they've been working on in their teams. Interns also get to attend professional development workshops and have access to learning and development resources at SentinelOne to support their interests. Aside from these, all interns are invited to company-wide events and activities, fully immersing and providing them the experience of being a Sentinel and cybersecurity professional.

Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent

SentinelOne’s internship program is designed with the goal of converting interns to full-time hires at the company. With this in mind, mentorship is top priority for the intern program. Interns are assigned a mentor and manager who help create professional and personal goals from the get-go, as well as have the University Team as a resource to explore opportunities at SentinelOne post-internship. Over the past two cohorts of interns, more than 60% of interns have had their internships extended or converted to full-time positions. SentinelOne is committed to supporting its interns every step of the way, whether it's with another internship opportunity in a different department, shadowing another team, or continued mentorship after graduation from the intern program. The company invests in the retention and success of its early talent hires through a robust and welcoming onboarding program, learning and development tools and workshops, professional development and career mapping resources, Inclusion Networks, remote flexibility, and a robust and comprehensive benefits package to support their well-being inside and outside of work.
