The Recruiting Choice Awards celebrates the rising stars, talent innovators, career catalysts and exceptional leaders in recruitment. To recognize these standout individuals, we need your help! Nominate a talent professional you admire between April 15 - May 15 to have them included in RippleMatch's 4th Annual Recruiting Choice Awards.

Recruitment professionals shape the future of talent at their organizations. This essential role requires a delicate balance of analytical and people skills, requires complex navigation across business functions, and is often faced with shifting landscapes and unique challenges.

That's why RippleMatch is thrilled to host our 4th annual awards to recognize individual excellence in recruitment. 

The Recruiting Choice Awards celebrates the disruptors, innovators, and leaders who are making standout contributions to their organizations by bringing in top-tier talent through groundbreaking and creative strategies.

To identify these exceptional individuals, we need your help. 

Each year, RippleMatch provides an open nomination period for individuals in the community to nominate their peers, coworkers, managers, or direct reports for a Recruiting Choice Award. This is your chance to recognize the amazing individuals in your network!

From this list of nominations, RippleMatch forms a final list of esteemed Nominees who fall into categories for the following Awards:

  • Exceptional Leader Award: This award is for talent professionals who lead fearlessly through change, are continuously innovating, and inspire their team to make strategic decisions and be the best they can be. (This award is for individuals who have a director-level title or higher and lead managers and individual contributors).

  • Career Catalyst Award: Career Catalysts spark the careers of the candidates they impact, as well as through the development of their own team of recruiters, program managers, or coordinators. Career Catalysts are making their mark on the industry through innovative strategies and empathetic management.  (This award is for individuals who manage a team, mainly of individual contributors).

  • Talent Innovator Award: Talent Innovators are seasoned professionals who use their skills and experiences to challenge the status quo and bring new ideas, channels, and technology to recruitment. (This award is for individual contributors with 5 years of work experience or more).

  • Rising Star Award: Up-and-coming early career recruitment professionals with 4 years' or less work experience who are bringing fresh ideas to the space of recruitment and demonstrating excellence in all aspects of their roles. (This award is for individual contributors with 4 years of work experience or less).

In addition to these overarching categories, Nominees will be placed into sub-categories that reflect specific areas of excellence such as D&I, innovation in technology, excellence in events, and Gen Z recruitment strategies.

Just as the public submitted their nominations, the public will be responsible for selecting the winner of each category through an open voting period!

Additionally, each Nominee receives:

  • National recognition as a 2024 Recruiting Choice Award Nominee

  • Spotlight page highlighting their accomplishments

  • Custom swag package

  • Invitation to exclusive virtual Nominee networking luncheon

RippleMatch established the Recruiting Choice Awards to recognize the individuals that are integral to the space of talent acquisition. While teams and companies often get recognition, it isn't often an individual gets the chance to share their proudest accomplishments with their wider network. We rely on peer nominations to form our list of nominees, so your nomination is essential to helping your contact get recognized!

If you'd like your nomination to be shared with the individual you nominated, you can include your information in the nomination form! This will allow us to ensure the nominee knows all of the great things you had to say about them when nominating them!

The four primary award categories established are intended to help us recognize leaders, managers, individual contributors, and folks just starting their careers. If you aren't sure, please make your best selection when submitting a nominee's information. We will be reaching out to them separately to have them accept their nomination and provide us with additional information to place them in the right awards category.

Any talent professional who is involved in recruitment is eligible to be nominated! There are multiple categories they can be placed in if selected as a nominee, so you can nominate anyone from a Head of Talent Acquisition to a Diversity Recruitment Manager to a campus recruiter, for example.

With so many layoffs taking place, it's more important than ever to shine a spotlight on the talented professionals in this space. Even if someone is currently between jobs, you can nominate them for the Recruiting Choice Awards! Please be sure to include a personal email where they can be reached.

No, there is no cost associated with nominating someone for the Recruiting Choice Awards, and there is no cost if someone participates as a Nominee! There will also be no cost to access any associated branding materials to participate in the Recruiting Choice Awards.

You can nominate as many people as you feel are deserving of a being a Nominee for the Recruiting Choice Awards! However, please start a new submission for every person you would like to nominate.

We will notify all potential nominees in late April and May. To ensure they do not miss this notification email, individuals should whitelist all communications from 'awards@ripplematch.com' and ensure the point-of-contact email included in the nomination form is accurate.
