To create a seamless applicant experience, Qualcomm posts opportunities as Talent Pillars, enabling students to apply once and have their application considered by hundreds of managers and vacancies. Qualcomm hosts and collaborates on various initiatives, including virtual panels, tech talks, and in-person campus events. By posting jobs on numerous university and centralized job boards, Qualcomm ensures that communities with technical alignment and diverse backgrounds are aware of available opportunities. Excellence in Tech Innovation
Qualcomm embraces technology to improve and streamline its processes. The company has incorporated Handshake Premium to engage with university-agnostic and diverse talent across the US and Canada through events and campaigns. Qualcomm has also leveraged its Eightfold CRM, enabling teams to use AI technology to enhance the candidate experience with job matching, improve sourcing efforts for recruiters, and provide the events team with a one-stop shop for creating and executing all virtual and in-person events.
Excellence in DE&I
Qualcomm values and prioritizes diversity, inclusion, and equality efforts, with much of its progress in enhancing diversity beginning with the early-in-career recruiting program. This year, Qualcomm attended four diversity conferences, including Tapia, Grace Hopper Celebration, SHPE National Conference, and the NSBE Region VI Conference. At these events, the team engaged with and interviewed candidates for summer 2025 internship positions. Additionally, Qualcomm collaborated with and sponsored school chapters, such as NSBE, to host events for their members. Once candidates join the company, they have various opportunities to engage and build community with fellow Qualcommers through Employee Networks.

Qualcomm's internship program is dedicated to providing a positive and impactful learning experience. As a global tech leader, the program offers interns real-world experience and technical skills, supported by a community of Qualcomm experts, team members, and fellow interns. The commitment to fostering a sense of community is demonstrated through 35+ in-person and hybrid events, including professional development opportunities, community connection activities, social networking events, and tech sessions that explore Qualcomm’s innovation and global impact. This well-rounded program ensures interns leave with industry-level technical skills, a deep understanding of Qualcomm’s culture, and a strong desire to make Qualcomm their professional home.
