This is achieved through monthly information sessions where students learn about opportunities and hear directly from professionals in their field of interest prior to applying. To ensure candidates are well-prepared for interviews, the team provides interview prep materials, including detailed Super Day packets with tips and insights for a successful experience. The offer process is personalized, with recruiters conducting one-on-one outreach to guide candidates through next steps and address any questions. The team’s keep-warm strategy maintains consistent communication, encouraging candidates to stay connected with their recruiter from pre-application through day one. Excellence in Internship Programming
PNC's internship program offers early career talent a dynamic and impactful summer experience. It begins with a kickoff summit at the Pittsburgh headquarters, where interns participate in networking, learn banking fundamentals, and engage in hands-on activities supporting the bank’s Grow Up Great initiative. During the 10-week program, interns are paired with a peer mentor who provides personalized guidance and support. Interns gain real-world experience through meaningful projects and presentations to senior leaders. The program also includes a Leader Speaker Series and Venture Vault—an innovative take on Shark Tank—where interns pitch reimagined financial service products. This experience fosters professional growth, industry knowledge, and serves as the largest pipeline for full-time development programs, playing a critical role in shaping PNC’s early career talent strategy.
