Innovation is one of the key pillars at Pella Corporation, and the Campus Recruiting team is no different. The team attends both in-person and virtual events to recruit talent to the organization. The team works with clubs and classrooms in various colleges and universities across the country to do in-class teachings and trainings, as well as virtual meetings. When candidates come onsite to interview with Pella Corporation, an exceptional candidate is experience is provided. The team has also innovated and come up with ways to interview on campuses rather than making individuals travel to us.
Innovative Use of Technology
The Campus Recruiting team at Pella Corporation knows that keeping up with technology is vital to our recruitment process. Whether that is using social media to create day-in-the-life videos for certain roles the company hires for, or upgrading technology on the back end to provide a seamless and easy transition for candidates when applying. Technology also allows the Campus Recruiting team to recruit virtually everywhere in a virtual setting. Technology has provided the team to host virtual meetings at schools that the team isn't always able to get to easily, providing opportunities to reach candidates across the country.
Impactful Internship Program
At Pella Corporation, interns are empowered to be extraordinary. Pella Corporation provides hands on, impactful projects for all interns no matter what business function the intern is working in. Interns get the opportunity to attend Executive Roundtables, compete in a case competition, attend social events, and apply what is learned in the classroom, to a real life, corporate project. Pella Corporation believes that allowing interns to gain true, hands on, real world experience, only empowers them to excel in the classroom and future opportunities they discover.
