Excellence in Recruitment Strategies
Oshkosh Corporation offers a number of early talent programs and initiatives designed to help the next generation of professionals jump-start their futures. The early talent team is committed to taking a hybrid approach to engage with top students from a multitude of schools and backgrounds starting with the youth apprentice program for local high schoolers, through the rotational engineer program that gives recent engineering graduates the foundation to be successful engineering leaders in the future. This hybrid approach includes strategic partnerships, hands-on experiences, and educational initiatives. In addition to the efforts to engage with students in-person, Oshkosh broadens their reach through technology tools like RippleMatch to connect with a diverse candidate pool.
Excellence in Internship Programming
Oshkosh Corporation's internship program is committed to providing current college students with real-world work experience and offering hands-on roles across a wide range of job functions to accelerate their formal education. In addition to the learning they do on the job, interns also take part in mentor circles, being paired in small groups with a cross functional professional, to further their growth. They have the ability to be part of enterprise EBRGs providing them with additional access to resources for personal and career development. Performance feedback is provided in a timely manner through one-on-one check-ins, and formal discussions to help students stay on track. Throughout the summer, interns get face time with executives during professional development sessions to strengthen their understanding of the business. This engaging experience contributed to an intern engagement score of 8.6 in 2024.
