Excellence in Recruitment Strategies
MUFG’s lean university recruitment team has worked hard to develop both large-scale general and specifically targeted recruitment efforts. The team has built key relationships with diverse organizations across the U.S., such as the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund, to identify and attract top talent while also focusing on a more targeted approach at specific universities by creating relationships with student groups aligned to different hiring teams. The team collaborates with these groups to develop appropriate content and individualized programming.
Excellence in Internship Programming
The program focuses on the individual experiences of each intern. Interns work together to receive significant training before starting their roles, ensuring they all begin on equal footing. Throughout the summer, they have opportunities to connect with senior executives, network with each other, participate in fun activities, and volunteer. A core part of the program is the integration of employee resource groups (ERGs) with student programming. The ERGs connect with interns to enhance their experience and help them learn how they can build their careers at MUFG.
