Molson Coors Beverage Company (MCBC) has utilized platforms such as RippleMatch, Handshake and HireVue to source and engage early talent. MCBC uses its partnerships with diverse professional organizations to reach a wide range of students through recruitment campaigns aimed at attracting top talent to the organization. Molson Coors incorporates a mixture of phone and virtual on-demand interviews to get to know candidates. MCBC uses creative social media strategies to attract and encourage young talent to apply to its roles. The utilization of technology has allowed the process to be seamless and improved response time with an average response rate of 3-4 days along with clarity to candidates of the recruitment process.
Excellence in Candidate Experience
The Molson Coors Early Talent Team creates a positive candidate experience by engaging with candidates from their initial application through the hiring stage. Candidates will apply via the career site or external sites such as RippleMatch, LinkedIn, and Indeed. The Early Talent Team reviews candidate resumes in a timely manner to then invite top talent to our screening process. Whether that be a phone call or an on-demand interview, The Early Talent Team sends tailored invitations to encourage candidates to complete their screen. Once their screens are reviewed, candidates are invited to virtual panel interviews. Candidates receive a confirmation email that includes tips on how to answer questions along with the names of their panelists. This sets the expectation of how the interview will go.

Molson Coors Beverage Company’s Early Talent Program was created to increase representation of professionals of color and female employees by building a diverse pipeline of early talent. Molson Coors has continued its commitment via national partnerships such as being a founding partner of Thurgood Marshall College Fund. Coors Light is a founding partner of the HBCU Legacy Bowl. Miiller Lites partnership with The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) awarding students with scholarships and leadership development opportunities through its leadership institute. Molson Coors Beverage Company invests in its interns' development by providing them with the necessary professional soft skills, leadership training, and career exploration to set them up for long-term success in their careers. Most recently implemented an Intern Peer Advisor Program (IPA) aimed at connecting and developing interns as early as they accept an offer from Molson Coors. Through a 1-1 match with a mentor, together they set SMART goals targeted at personal and professional development based off areas of mutual interest.
Excellence in Internship Programming
Molson Coors Early Talent Program (ETP) provides students with valuable, real-world experiences via meaningful summer projects that impact the overall business. Interns go through a 3-day onboarding experience where they are introduced to the Molson Coors business units with dynamic presentations from leaders across the business. Interns get the opportunity to visit and tour the brewery during their first day of employment. Interns also participate in workshops throughout the summer on topics such as Growth Mindset, Teamwork & Collaboration, Self-Discovery and more! The entire intern class also comes together at the historic Miller Brewery for a weeklong intern challenge; an innovation competition that allows interns to collaborate on innovative idea, and the week includes workshops in Ideation, Production, Pitching, and Presentation skills. Interns are challenged to come up with new ideas for addressing customer- and employee-facing challenges. They learn skills ranging from problem solving, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to collaboration, storytelling, and intrapreneurship. Inters can meet and hear from past interns on their experience and explore possible full-time opportunities post-graduation, this has led to a 74% return rate.
