The Early Career Team at McDonald's takes a strategic approach to sourcing and recruiting early talent, focusing on targeted initiatives to attract high-potential young employees who can grow within the company. Key components of our innovation approach include emphasis on diversity and inclusion conferences/fairs, onsite McDonald's hosted events, digital recruitment channels, employer branding, and collaborating with student organizations at select schools to help streamline the process. Through some of these approaches, McDonald's has built a robust pipeline for attracting early talent, focusing on development, diversity, and innovation to create a lasting impact and cultivate future leaders from within its own workforce.

Excellence in DE&I

McDonald's Corporation has a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives aimed at recruiting, retaining, and supporting underrepresented talent in early career stages. The company has targeted recruitment partnerships with different organizations and programs that focus on underrepresented groups such as HBCU's, HSI's, Black Men in Tech, Grace Hopper, and the National Black MBA Conference.
