Lumen recognizes the unique needs of early-career applicants who may have limited experience in the job market or application process. To support these candidates, Lumen ensures they receive an automated response within six hours of their application and communication from the University Recruiting team within two weeks or less. These communications outline next steps, set expectations, and provide interview tips to support candidate success. Upon hire, candidates join a community of fellow interns to begin networking, receive mentorship from their hiring manager, and participate in monthly Exec Connect meetings with Lumen ambassadors leading up to onboarding.
