Legrand’s success in early-in-career hiring comes from adapting the recruiting method based on the role location. They have over 30 locations across the US and some of the largest facilities are in rural communities. Through local school partnerships, they are able to build a strong pipeline of intern to full time candidates. By leveraging the local talent pool, Legrand is able to meet the needs of the community and the business. For their early-in-career programs that require mobility, Legrand uses alumni networks and online tools such as RippleMatch to connect them to talent across the country. Excellence in Candidate Experience

Legrand knows that job decisions are a two-way street, which is why they strive for all candidates to feel confident that Legrand is the company for them. Their early-in-career programs have been around for over 10 years, and they review best practices to stay relevant. All interviewers complete DE&I trainings and are knowledgeable of the CSR roadmap. Candidates meet with employees from all divisions, including current and former program participants. Program managers keep open lines of communication throughout the onboarding process, and pre-start meet-and-greets are arranged so that new hires can network with peers. After ten years of focus on the programs, Legrand is building a 2025 strategy that delivers a best-in-class experience for all early-in-career candidates.
