Excellence in Recruitment Strategies

The campus recruiting team at Klaviyo provides a first in class recruiting experience. The team engages with candidates at traditional campus career fairs and works closely with student groups to curate unique opportunities to engage in person with past interns and full time Klaviyos. Applicants receive a high touch experience throughout the interview process culminating connections with school alumni, their interviewers, and former interns once they’ve been provided an offer to join Klaviyo. For candidates who are local to Boston, they have the opportunity to visit the office as part of the process before deciding if they want to join Klaviyo.

Tech Innovation

Excellence in Tech Innovation

The Campus team at Klaviyo incorporates technology into the application review process and candidate sourcing to enhance the candidate experience. The team utilizes an automated resume screening process, enabling responses to candidates’ applications within two weeks of submission. Additionally, LinkedIn Recruiter is used to send personalized outreach to students before attending career fairs and to source candidates, introducing the team before in-person interactions at the fairs. This approach leads to increased quality of interactions and a diverse recruiting funnel.

Excellence in Candidate Experience

The Campus team at Klaviyo prioritizes providing a top-tier candidate experience to build a lasting positive impression with students. The team commits to responding to applications within 2 weeks of submission, provides students with a PDF on Klaviyo’s culture and remote interviewing tips to set them up for success in their interviews. When a student receives an offer, the Campus team connects them with a Klaviyo employee from the student’s school as a resource to answer questions and discuss their experience as they make the decision about their offer. The team also provides detailed feedback over the phone to any candidates who completed final round interviews and didn’t receive an offer.

Excellence in DE&I

Klaviyo aims to build a diverse funnel of early career talent by identifying and hiring remarkable university talent and crafting best-in-class internships / co-ops with the goal of converting top tested talent to full-time Klaviyos. To recruit a diverse slate of candidates, Klaviyo conducts year round on campus brand building strategies with student diversity clubs as well as targeted professional clubs that will yield diverse talent. Klaviyo provides an exceptional summer program setting interns up for success by matching them with mentors, offering diversity focused events, inclusive of lunches and networking events with current employees that are a part of underrepresented groups in the tech industry, fostering alumni connections, and employee resource group member connections.
