Jessie is a Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner at UKG. In their role, Jessie is responsible for recruiting Software Engineers into UKG's internship and early career programs. Jessie is passionate about being a thoughtful advocate for candidates and the programs at UKG.
Career Highlight
Jessie took on the role of Diversity Ambassador for the Campus Recruiting Team at UKG to advise the engineering department on recruiting non-traditional talent. Jessie works with leaders to educate on diversity needs for their teams. This includes building partnerships with platforms such as RippleMatch, coding-academies and bootcamps, as well as building sourcing strategies for underrepresented minorities. Jessie leads information sessions partnering with student organizations such as NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) and oSTEM (Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). They follow the interview phase to ensure the selection process is fair and advocate for candidates during hiring.
