Multi-Faceted and Thoughtful Approach to University Recruitment

Using a hybrid approach, Insperity’s Early Talent team offers a diverse set of virtual and in-person events, such as info sessions, industry panels, association presentations, classroom guest lecture, and job fairs. They host students in offices around the country for off-site association meetings and job shadow days. The team also plans strategic events to engage with select colleges—including HBCUs and HSIs, to provide students with valuable interactions and strengthened relationships through class and capstone projects. Once students enter the pipeline, the team prioritizes their experience using text messaging, warm email campaigns with videos, social media content with an early talent focus, and an early talent-specific page on the career website to keep candidates engaged and informed.

Standout Candidate Experience

From attraction to onboarding, Insperity’s Early Talent team believes that a positive candidate experience is crucial. Their approach ensures students have a best-in-class experience from the initial contact through to application and on to the offer stage. Experts in how to best engage Gen Z candidates, the team is a resource for all recruiting-related questions and open to providing feedback. Using QR codes and mobile apply options, they have implemented a simple recruiting process, free from extensive multi-round interviews. After offers, they actively engage students with swag boxes, networking opportunities and a multi-channel communications cadence to build excitement. The team has also implemented a comprehensive post-process survey to gather data on the candidate experience and iterate improvements to the hiring process.

Impactful Internship Program

Insperity internships provide extensive learning opportunities, whether the intern enters a rotational or role-specific program in any business line. Varied program opportunities are available to suit the intern’s career goals, providing real-world experiences, impactful work, and the chance to build community. The program offers networking with direct access to top company executives and SMEs through weekly events and community involvement activities. Connections made through the mentor program last well beyond the internships. Interns have ownership over parts of the program—book clubs, Q&A sessions, mixers, and challenge projects. Their contributions to project teams and presentations to leadership during the capstone expo demonstrate their impact. Their ideas have been implemented—fully or partially, year over year. But the greatest impact? Insperity’s 2023 100% return offer acceptance.
