Today's Gen Z candidates are submitting record numbers of applications this fall, playing a number's game in order to land a role. With more than 50% submitting 100+ applications, many employers are finding themselves frustrated by a lack of response from candidates as the funnel progresses. On top of this, a little over half of candidates report losing interest in a role if they haven't heard back from an employer within 2 weeks and 76% of candidates would be open to reneging on an offer if a 'better' one came along.
