The Early Careers team at HedgeServ leverages technology to source and recruit early-career talent effectively and efficiently. Using platforms like RippleMatch, the team connects with a diverse pool of candidates from various schools, focusing on individuals interested in living in one of three U.S. locations, regardless of their school's location. HedgeServ takes a high-touch approach by thoroughly reviewing every resume to match candidates with the most suitable roles. The recruitment team conducts the entire process virtually, providing candidates greater flexibility. The team promptly screens applications and respects candidates' time by informing them of the next steps immediately. The team aims to complete the process, from application to decision, within three weeks.

Excellence in Candidate Experience

HedgeServ is dedicated to creating a smooth and efficient candidate experience, aiming to complete the entire process—from application to decision—within three weeks. Upon application, candidates will receive an automated email confirmation immediately. A recruiter thoroughly reviews resumes, and automated emails promptly notify candidates of their status. For those advancing, a recruiter reaches out within five days to begin the next steps, which include a screening interview and, if applicable, interviews with the hiring team. Candidates not moving forward at any stage are informed of their status through email updates.

Internships at HedgeServ are immersive learning experiences that foster long-term relationships, leading to full-time roles after graduation. Interns actively contribute to operations by performing meaningful tasks and are paired with a dedicated "buddy" for guidance and support throughout their program. Unlike many companies, HedgeServ offers interns unique access to senior leadership, including luncheons with the CEO, COO, and CTO, providing valuable learning and networking opportunities. Additionally, interns participate in monthly social activities sponsored by the firm, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience. In many instances, interns continue to work part-time during the school year due to HedgeServ's hybrid working model.
