Standout Candidate Experience

The Intern Program team at Glassdoor strives to provide an exceptional candidate experience. By metaphorically rolling out the "green carpet", Glassdoor provides a seamless and equitable experience to each candidate. For example, all initial applicants will be reviewed and emailed an update within 10 business days. Once in the interview stages, Recruiters will provide candidates with resources and prep documents at each interview stage to ensure their interviewing success. Lastly, all candidates will be provided with an update on their application status within 3 business days of completing an interview stage. With these initiatives in place, Glassdoor champions the fact that raising the talent bar starts with great candidate experience!

Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

Glassdoor is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace for all employees. To ensure a diverse pipeline is achieved, the Intern Program team requires all Intern roles to go through 1 week of underrepresented candidate sourcing by the Recruiters before posting the roles publicly. The team also partners closely with coding bootcamps (General Assembly and Coding Dojo) to encourage opportunities for non-traditional applicants to interview. Lastly, Glassdoor offers specialized resources, workshops, and employee resource groups to ensure support and development for underrepresented talent.

Impactful Internship Program

At Glassdoor, interns are given full ownership of projects that provide opportunities to impact business operations and strategies. Additionally, one of the many benefits of a fully remote program is that interns are able to bring their authentic selves in the comfort of their favorite work spot! Over the summer, Interns are encouraged to participate in engaging virtual social events to foster team bonding, virtual informational workshops to gain applicable "real-world" skills, and virtual networking series with Glassdoor executives. These initiatives help provide interns with an engaging and well-rounded summer experience.
