Cherece leads the early talent recruitment program at Swinerton. She directly oversees the National College Recruitment program. She directly works with 19 divisions across the country to secure the best and brightest talent for the company. Prior to joining Swinerton, Cherece spent over a decade in education working with Teach For America, not only as a talent recruiter, but also as a high school English teacher who relentlessly worked towards closing the opportunity gap for kids in this nation. She is passionate about connecting top talent with great opportunities while building a diverse talent pool and hiring process that’s equitable, inclusive, transparent and timely.

Cherece has transformed the approach to college recruiting and brought an energy and passion to that space at Swinerton that is unparalleled! She has implemented creative new ideas for sourcing and recruiting, assisted with implementing a new CRM system, driven a successful recruiting training program, and built a team of college recruiting liaisons across the business in leadership roles. Not only has Swinerton made strides in college recruiting in general under Cherece's leadership, but Cherece has also been instrumental in increasing the diversity of entry-level candidates.
