Standout Candidate Experience

At Cardinal Health, candidate experience is essential to attract and retain talent. The College Recruiting team places a strong emphasis on ensuring candidates have a positive experience, regardless of if they are selected to receive an offer or not. The team provides tools and resources to candidates to set them up for success throughout the hiring process. This includes interview prep materials to educate them on the company, tips for a successful interview and a pre-interview information session to network with previous interns and new hires. After offer acceptance, the team offers engagement events to learn more about the company, network and meet their peers prior to their first day of employment. This ensures candidates feel engaged, motivated and welcomed when they join the company.

Impactful Internship Program

At Cardinal Health, interns provide meaningful contributions through projects that tackle real business challenges. The company is passionate about providing a robust and practical work experience. In addition to their projects, interns participate in formalized programming to enhance the experience and offer personal and professional development through workshops, networking, mentoring, career path exploration and more. Some key highlights of the program include the Executive Speaker Series, where interns meet with members of the executive leadership team, and intern-run committees. Through the committees, interns build their business acumen, work on their leadership and collaboration skills and take ownership of their development and experiences throughout their internship. At the end of the summer, interns deliver an end of summer presentation to showcase their work and accomplishments.
