Innovative Use of Technology
The early career team at Capital groups has always embraced technology to engage with early career talent. Since the team has a school agnostic approach, they use various technologies to engage with a diverse range of students across the US. Platforms connecting students to employers are key in helping the early career team promote Capital’s brand and available opportunities as well as conduct several information sessions during the recruiting season. Interview technology also plays a key role in making the interview process more efficient.
Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
Capital Groups early career recruiting team is passionate about and dedicated to recruiting diverse talent. The team is committed to attending and engaging with talent at diverse recruiting events at the national and regional level. Partnerships have been formed with various diversity related organizations such as Forte, Thrive Scholars, College Match LA, and Out for Undergrad to name a few. The early career team is also responsible for launching an HBCU/HSI Leadership event which exclusively caters to students attending those colleges and universities. This allows students to hear from and network with various diverse associates about their experience and success at Capital Group so far.
Impactful Internship Program
Capital Groups Summer Associate program is a robust 10-week program with meaningful project work, personal development and volunteer opportunities as well community building and social activities. The goal is for summer associates to get a sense of a full-time associate’s role in a limited amount of time while building lasting relationships and giving them opportunities that can help them advance in their career. A weekly senior leader speaker series, 3 -day in person summit at the Irvine, California campus and exposure to employee resource groups are just a few of the many benefits of the program. The company has seen consistent success with this program which has led to an 82% intern return offer rate.
