Summer Internship Program

Salesforce remained committed to their 2020 cohort of more than 700 interns and put on an incredibly successful virtual summer program. Over the course of the summer, interns had robust professional development opportunities such as virtual face-to-face time with senior Salesforce executives and exposure to exciting projects. Community-building was also a priority, and interns took part in activities like virtual volunteering, online social mixers, and networking opportunities such as virtual coffee dates.

Virtual Recruitment

When COVID-19 forced campus recruiting online, the Futureforce team seized the opportunity to reach further into the student community and go beyond the traditional on-campus career fair. This resulted in the global team hosting and participating in over 200 virtual events attended by nearly 6,000 students across fall 2020, including: participating in virtual career fairs, hosting info sessions, networking events, virtual volunteering sessions, and social mixers.

Candidate Experience

Concerned that students would experience ‘Zoom Fatigue’ with all interactions shifted online, the Futureforce team made sure that the interview experience became more interactive and valuable for the candidate, and that technical assessments and interviews were concise and considerate of time.

Diversity and Inclusion

Diversity and inclusion has always been a priority at Salesforce, and 2020 was no different. Salesforce believes in widening access to the tech industry by training and enabling the diverse workforce of tomorrow through various workforce development programs, including partnerships with external programs, including Year Up and Genesys Works. Salesforce also focuses on growing their future diverse leaders through several key programs, including their Equality Mentorship Program, which connects employees of color with executive mentors and their URM development program in partnership with the Executive Leadership Council.

Congratulations to Salesforce for their accomplishments this past year. RippleMatch is proud to recognize Salesforce in our 2021 Campus Forward Awards for their commitment toward the next generation of talent.
