Additionally, the team provided a standout candidate experience that placed an emphasis on personalization, communication, and support.

The safety of both AlphaSights’ candidates and employees has been top of mind throughout the recruitment season. In the beginning of the pandemic, AlphaSights’ team quickly shifted to a fully virtual interview process to avoid unnecessary travel and worked together to move all fall recruiting events online. Despite having a completely new strategy, AlphaSights’ team was able to meet the most students they’ve ever met in a campus recruiting season - a 125% year-over-year increase. By utilizing virtual platforms the team was able to host more events like info sessions, project workshops, and coffee chats, and reach a wider, more diverse audience.
Throughout the interview process, candidates communicate directly with a member of the recruitment team, who guide them throughout the candidate journey from application to offer. As candidates advance, the team passes along preparation materials such as videos and PDFs of interview tips & firm insight to help candidates feel confident going into their interviews. At the conclusion of the interview process, if receiving an offer, candidates hear directly from the member of senior leadership who interviewed them to receive insight about life at AlphaSights.

AlphaSights has partnered with some of the most diverse universities in the US to recruit talent, and formed a Diversity Champions team composed of their DEI leadership committee. The Diversity Champions team partners with the recruiting team to participate in diversity recruitment events, marketing initiatives, candidate conversion efforts, and to provide ideas & feedback on the direction the firm should take as it relates to DEI.
