Zebra Technologies was selected as a 2024 Campus Forward Award Winner for their unwavering commitment to seeking out and hiring early career talent and investments in nurturing and retaining the next generation of diverse talent. Multi-Faceted and Thoughtful Approach to University Recruitment
This year, the Early Careers team proposed, identified, and executed a campus ambassador program to assist the campus recruiting team by enabling students to learn about Zebra Technologies. These ambassador programs allowed the teams to engage with former interns at fall 2023 campus fairs, which yielded an increase in applicants from targeted institutions.
Innovative Use of Technology
Zebra utilizes Eightfold events, which enables candidates direct access into their ATS. This gives Zebra's early careers team insights into the traffic from events and enables the team to build individual campaigns that direct students to their jobs board and talent network. The team has seen an increase in applicants from those attending Zebra-attended campus events, which highlights the improvements of technology investments at Zebra.
Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
Zebra Technologies directly partners with NSBE and SWE at Stony Brook University each recruiting season. This fall, the team hosted over 35 students from these partnerships to showcase their offices and technology center. Zebra invites these students to their facilities in New York, where attendees listen to Zebra employees and former interns as a way to network with those hiring teams.
