Vicky is a University Recruiter at Western Digital. In her role at Western Digital, Vicky is responsible for full cycle university recruitment for Global Operations, Memory Technology and Chief Technology Office (CTO) teams. She is the go-to person for all early-in-career PhD opportunities within the organization. Vicky is passionate about building strong business partnerships and making sure candidates have a good interview experience at Western Digital.
Career Highlight
When COVID-19 hit, Vicky took on the challenge of stepping into a different role than what she originally came to the team for. She had zero technical recruiting background and was willing to learn everything from scratch. She quickly adjusted to the work environment and did everything from sourcing to closing. This past year, she achieved some of the greatest wins for the University Recruitment team. She worked hard and built a strong diverse slate of candidate pool, closed requisitions in record time, and earned the business leaders' trust of the University Recruitment team.
