Trane Technologies prioritizes diversity sourcing actions in the sourcing plan for each of its early career talent segments. This includes utilizing student club partnerships like NSBE, SWE, and SHPE, targeted campaigns to self-identified diverse populations, and diversity-focused micro-internships to provide early access to opportunities for students.

Impactful Internship Program

Trane Technologies' internship program serves over 400 early talent students each year in the US and Canada. The internship experience goals focus on meaningful work, professional development, social engagement/networking, and performance feedback. The intent is to establish a pipeline for early talent programs and direct hire. Trane Technologies provides each intern with swag, mentors, networking, connections, development, and technical sessions. Interns have access to employee resources groups, opportunities to be a part of sustainability opportunities, and the chance to join ‘Operation Possible’ to boldly challenge what’s possible for a sustainable world. Interns have expressed they choose Trane Technologies because of the work culture and values. When asked to describe their experience with Trane Technologies in one word, interns shared that they felt inspired, amazing, bold, supported, valued, excited and eager, to name a few.

Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent

Trane Technologies’ early careers programs are designed to help students or new graduates grow confidently into a full-time position.
