Investing in Impactful Internship Programs

The Home Depot's internship was virtual for a 2nd year and provided an opportunity to show interns how to solve problems, think creatively, and adapt to unexpected situations. From the comfort of their screens, interns met company leaders, collaborated with each other on major projects, and even had game days to get to know each other. The Home Depot offers huge opportunities for career advancement. Of the interns, 75% receive a full-time or returning opportunity. Many of them get promoted within their first two years of employment. The Home Depot also offers a mentorship program that is designed to enable associates to learn from others and pave the way to achieve their full potential.
