The Intern Program Team continues to look at ways in which they can be innovative and improve the candidate experience. For the team, it is imperative that they foster and build a high-touch candidate experience. Each year the team evaluates their current strategy and processes and in return align on areas of improvements and celebrate their successes! The team has continued to leverage AI tools such as their strong partnership with RippleMatch to support outreach to a wider candidate pool and have begun to explore other capabilities within RippleMatch’s platform that may support the campus events strategy in the future and possibly expanding for other talent initiatives. The team has also leveraged tools such as video interviewing and interview Superday’s that have helped them reach and engage with a large number of candidate applicants in a shorter timeframe. Technology has played and continues to play an integral part of the recruitment processes and overall campus strategy and the team is committed to embracing technology to improve the results and efficiencies for the Summer Internship Program.
Impactful Internship Program
The Estee Lauder Companies strives to provide an overall robust learning and professional development summer experience. A top priority is to build an inclusive work environment for summer interns to empower interns to think creatively, share innovative ideas and build relationships across people and wonderful brands and functions. The company hosts several engaging events throughout the 10-week experience that includes a hands-on learning curriculum but also introduces Interns to key parts of the organizations such as Employee Resource Groups, charitable foundations, ESG goals and initiatives and the diverse brand portfolio. The team truly builds an impactful experience not only through the events and resources the program provides but also ensuring that mentorship and real time project work is provided to all interns with a direct line to impacting the business in real time. The team believes in the importance of leading from every chair and considers the interns as part of the ELC family from day one.

The Estee Lauder Companies offers an array of student opportunities. These include opportunities for undergraduates and graduates offering both rotational experiences and summer programs. The company prioritizes learning and real-time project work and provide all enrolled in student opportunities to become fully immersed in the ELC Family with a wide variety of resources and ample mentorship. The team provides an array of educational series throughout the Summer Internship Program and provide hands-on training and professional development workshops throughout the Summer Program experience.
