The Early Careers team has focused on identifying key universities across the U.S. to recruit from and build relationships on campus to help recruit various locations. The strategy is not just to lean on these schools though, it's to provide a personalized experience for candidates. Whether a relationship is formed from a campus event or an outreach on LinkedIn, candidates can expect a response from the Early Careers team to help direct them to the opportunities that align best with their majors.
Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
Tenneco's Business Resource Groups serve as a wonderful resource for candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Currently, the Black & African Heritage, Young Professionals, and Women's Business Resource groups are heavily involved in its campus presence, as well as throughout its Summer Internship program.
Impactful Internship Program
Tenneco's internship program focuses on providing real world work experiences, as well as insight into what it's like to be a Tenneco team member. Its program provides an opportunity for interns to network across the US with various leaders, Business Resource Groups, other interns, and specialty groups within the enterprise. Tenneco’s goal is that interns will feel confident in their decision to join Tenneco after graduation through realistic work experience and an understanding of Tenneco's culture and values.
