How These Talent Leaders Recruit, Retain, and Support LGBTQIA+ Employees

Join RippleMatch and University Recruitment specialists for a virtual panel discussion to provide our campus recruiting community with the knowledge and tools to recruit, retain, and welcome LGBTQIA+ talent.
It's Pride Month, and RippleMatch is excited to host a panel dedicated to the recruitment, retention, and support of LGBTQIA+ employees. Pride Month only comes once a year, but commitment to LGBTQIA+ folks from a hiring perspective should be happening consistently! During this discussion, several early career recruitment and D&I leaders will discuss their strategies for both recruiting from the queer community, and creating a workplace culture that embraces and celebrates all identities.
We hope to discuss many strategies to recruit, retain, and support LGBTQIA+ talent, including:
- Engaging LGBTQIA+ candidates through clubs, organizations, and programs
- Educating employees internally around inclusion topics such as pronoun usage
- Creating and advertising a welcoming workplace culture

RippleMatch is hosting this panel discussion to strategize within our recruitment community, and learn how we can be better advocates, resources, and recruiters for LGBTQIA+ early career talent. Here's what to expect from this session:
Attendee welcome, panelist introductions | 2:00 pm - 2:10 pm
As everyone gets signed on to the Zoom webinar, our hosts will give a brief welcome & introduction and give each panelist the chance to introduce themselves.
Curated questions will be answered by the panelists | 2:10pm - 2:40pm
Panelists will answer a set of curated questions that they will have access to prepare for prior to the event.
Panel will open for Q&A | 2:40 pm - 2:55 pm
Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for our panelists via the Q&A box during the live event.
Session wrap-up | 2:55 - 3:00 pm
Following the panel, we'll share some of the biggest learnings during our discussion, as well as the LinkedIn profiles of our panelists!
