Stella Yuen - Nominee for Exceptional Leader Award - 2022 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Stella Yuen is a University Programs Lead at The Clorox Company. In her role at Clorox, Stella is responsible for overseeing the enterprise entry-level recruiting process and managing a team to hire for summer internships, co-ops, and entry-level roles. Prior to her role at Clorox, Stella spent 5 years at Armanino LLP where she started as a Campus Recruiter and worked her way up to National Campus Recruiting Manager. Stella is passionate about being transparent in the recruiting process to even out the playing field for all candidates.

Career Highlight

In the height of COVID, Stella joined Clorox as a remote employee. Interns were supposed to work in office for the summer internship, but with a new variant, Stella made the difficult decision to keep the interns remote all summer. However, she was mindful about remote engagement strategies, and she continued with remote programming such as fireside chats, "speed networking" with the ERGs, and of course, virtual socials! She developed trainings to ensure Managers & Mentors understood how to engage interns remotely, while simulating Clorox culture to ensure a great experience.
