Impactful Internship Program

The Stantec Intern Program is impactful to students for a number of reasons. The program is interactive, flexible, and development-focused, and is specifically designed to teach skills not taught in classrooms through real, meaningful project work. The program is offered year-round, with over 500 students participating in the summer program alone. The program balances business unit-specific information with a core curriculum that is consistent across all of their students, and there is a career-focused element to the program, where intentional conversations are had throughout a student's work term to provide direction and a pathway to full-time employment opportunities.
