Sophie is a University Recruiter for Siemens. In her role at Siemens, she is responsible for eight early career programs - focused on both full-time and internship development opportunities. She is inspired every day by the candidates she interacts with, and helping people find their dream job is her favorite part of working at Siemens! Before life in recruiting, Sophie interned at Siemens on the Talent and Leadership team, where she focused on driving a culture of ownership and collaboration in the organization from a global to regional level. Sophie is passionate about empowering the future of the workforce and driving change!

Career Highlight

Sophie began her role halfway through the recruitment cycle in an unprecedented labor market, characterized by record-level turnover and job openings, leading to changes in candidate expectations. Sophie saw this as an opportunity for change, and contributed to revamping Siemens' approach to intern engagement - prioritizing an early talent strategy, advocating for workforce development conversations, creating key engagement events for early career hires, and intentionally weaving in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives into everything she does!
