The Emerging Talent Programs team at Snyk focuses on finding local talent from colleges and universities surrounding the corporate offices. Through high-touch candidate interaction, the talent attraction team is able to create personalized recruiting experiences for each candidate.
Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
The Emerging Talent Programs team is committed to diversifying Snyk through entry-level hiring. The Talent Attraction Partners work with diverse university student organizations to attract talent. Additionally, the team hosted a Workshop Series to provide continued coaching and education on resume and LinkedIn best practices, as well as interview preparation. Once in the door, interns and entry-level hires are introduced personally to the Snyk Resource Groups and are encouraged to get involved.
Impactful Internship Program
At Snyk, interns are treated like any other employee. They are given the autonomy to fail fast, so long as they learn. Working in the office 3 days per week allows the interns the opportunity to connect directly with their peers, and leaders, and have exposure to the executive team. Weekly intern programming provides interns with the opportunity to develop their soft skills, build a community, and learn from one another.
Growth and Development of the Next Generation of Talent
Snyk is new to early career hiring and is working to build upon the already existing employee programs for the entry-level talent. The Emerging Talent Programs team recognizes that working with the Learning & Growth team to develop specialized programs and trainings will be instrumental in the success of entry-level talent.
