Skyworks routinely participates in numerous on-campus recruitment activities at top universities and technical colleges in order to attract and hire the very best interns, co-op students, and graduates. The university relations team develops and maintains relationships with colleges and universities across the U.S. and around the world. Skyworks participates in on-campus and virtual recruitment events, multi-school tech talks, and technical seminars,and partners with selected universities in supporting research projects and diversity organizations on campus, as well as industry associations. The recruiting team fosters a personalized approach, ensuring candidates have direct access to the Talent Acquisition team who are there to answer questions and ensure ongoing communication and support through each stage of the hiring process.

Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

Skyworks supports diversity in the workplace and is proud that its employee culture represents more than 60 nationalities worldwide. The company partners with organizations such as NSBE, SHPE, and SWE to attract early career talent working with local chapters on campus. Additionally, Skyworks sponsors an annual grant through the Research, Academics and Mentoring Pathways (RAMP) Program, supporting incoming female freshman engineering students at the University of Massachusetts Lowell with accelerated classes in math and computer programming. Skyworks also provides female technical mentors. The team is proud to be working with the National Action Council for Minority Engineering to attract underrepresented talent into the semiconductor industry. Skyworks values the opinions, ideas, backgrounds, and experiences of its talented global workforce, which are exemplified in all company programs, activities, and guidelines, including hiring practices, transfers, promotions, training, education, compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.

Management teams are trained to provide valuable feedback and encourage the development of both technical and workplace skills. Every engineer is paired with a mentor when they first join Skyworks, and engineers collaborate across design teams to create world class go-to-market products.
