Sherry McCaskill - Nominee for Exceptional Leader Award - 2022 Campus Recruiting Choice Awards

Sherry McCaskill is a talent acquisition manager at Toyota Motors North America. Sherry oversees the college recruitment and talent diversity strategy for college and trainee programs across the Toyota North American footprint. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Leadership from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and has her master's in human resources management from the University of Arizona. She is an active member of several Toyota Business Partnering Groups, including the African American Collaborative (AAC), Toyota Organization for Latinos' Development (TODOS) and Women Influencing and Impacting (WIIT)

Career Highlight

With the many options that students had for securing internships, Sherry ensured her team focused on two key things; the candidate experience, and building intentional relationships with stakeholders. Sherry is excited to continue to lead the college recruitment efforts, which includes diversity-focused responsibility for forging intentional relationships and hiring from HSIs and HBCUs, as well as managing additional diversity-focused partnerships with national organizations.
