Shawn Skoog is a Senior Recruiter on the Early Careers Recruitment & Campus Engagement (ECRCE) Team at UnitedHealth Group. In his role, Shawn is responsible for managing MBA and Graduate recruitment strategies for programs across the enterprise, which includes Optum and UnitedHealthcare. Prior to his role at UnitedHealth Group, Shawn managed a university’s graduate recruitment team and international development. Shawn is passionate about improving the candidate experience through innovation and cross-enterprise collaboration.

This past year, Shawn successfully consulted with and influenced his businesses to “shake things up” on how they recruit. He leveraged obstacles to re-evaluate and create a positive candidate experience.
