Sarah, Global Lead of Campus Recruiting at Qualcomm Incorporated, oversees a team responsible for hiring thousands of interns and university graduates annually. Her expertise lies in managing award-winning internship programs, building internal and external relationships, and attracting diverse and brilliant students worldwide. Prior to Qualcomm, Sarah served as the Director of Early Career Talent at Viasat. With over a decade of experience in early career recruitment, experienced hiring, intern program management, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), and university relations, Sarah is passionate about providing her team members and interns with the resources and support needed to thrive in their careers.

"I believe the DEI and Early Career recruitment strategy are inextricably linked. This year we broadened our community collaborations and piloted efforts with INROADS and ColorStack. I established a DEI committee within our team to ensure alignment between all our initiatives, including diversity conferences, sourcing, community partners, and university relationships. We are intentional about tapping into strong technical talent from Minority Serving Institutions and diverse communities including SHPE, NSBE, Tapia, and Grace Hopper. I partner closely with our STEM Education team to optimize the workforce development pipeline of students from under-resourced backgrounds from higher education to internships, and future employment."
