The Campus Recruitment team at Santander believes in providing a best-in-class experience for all early talent candidates from the time of application submission through the final offer extension stage. A few ways this team at Santander creates this experience is through informative job descriptions that highlight program details, application closing dates and detailed intern responsibilities, as well as transparent application status updates through applicant tracking system, and interview preparation. The Campus Recruitment team regularly seeks feedback from candidates to understand the recruitment experience for continuous improvement to the hiring process for future program cycles.
Overarching Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
Santander continues to seek opportunities to connect with diverse students across the country. The most recent intern class had more than 28% of interns identifying as members of underrepresented groups, hailing from more than 19 countries. From their earliest days at Santander, interns have the opportunity to get involved in the company’s seven Business Resource Groups as members. Impactful Internship Program
Santander’s internship program is designed to introduce interns to the company’s culture and help students kick start their career through hybrid opportunities. Interns are given the training and support to thrive within their position through weekly learning and development sessions, engagement with C-suite level leadership, and regular coffee chats and networking where interns can connect with one another and the Campus Recruitment team. Alongside company leaders, interns get the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that make an impact on the organization’s strategic goals and create meaningful professional experiences for students.
